Land Bridge and Prairie Now Open

Gates to the Kinder Land Bridge and Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Prairie are now fully open! This nearly 100-acre project has finally reunited the north and south sides of the Park by creating a land bridge over Memorial Drive. This dynamic new community space will provide enhanced recreation opportunities for Park users, provide safe crossing for people and wildlife, and play a crucial role in stormwater management. We are excited to welcome all Houstonians to experience this new space, gather with friends and family, celebrate milestones, or take a moment to find peace. Memorial Park is for all Houstonians, today and tomorrow.
